to become part of upstart crows you must be recommended by your school, University, College or the Artistic Director of a company involved in the performing arts. for whatever postiion you apply you will be subject to two auditions. a preliminary audition at which you will be asked to explain your reasons for wishing to join and, if applying for a place in the acting corps, you will be asked to perform a two to three minute piece from any of the works of William Shakespeare. if you have satisfied the first panel in that interview you will be asked back for a second interview. this interview will be to make a positive decision on your suitability to become a member of the company. if you think this is being picky, you're right. |
