we are because we want to be. because we think we should be. we won't care if you're offended by our productions, if you're affronted by them. we won't care if you're shocked by them, if you're angered by them or if you get incensed. these won't be the shakespeare productions you will have seen with your mother. these won't be will's comedies nicely dressed up to satisy the wine and crackers community. these won't be the bard's tragedies comfortably blanketed in cotton wool and duck down and they won't be in the places you've come to expect seeing them. you may even have to travel, if you care, to places where there are no seats, no stage, and in some cases you may even have to take a bus to catch a scene. |

who knows? if it's trifles you're after go somewhere else. don't bother with us, we're not here to kiss you goodnight and tuck you in. we're here to show you why this man from Warwickshire is still around, how he perfectly described and portrayed that which we have come to know as the common human character traits. he did to entertain and fill theatres, to make money for his friends and company but he did also because it was in him and had to come out. |
